This is the story no one is ever prepared to tell.
For 18 years, Jaqueline (36) and Hano stood side by side. Best friends. Partners. Soulmates. Together they survived life’s hardest blows the early loss of Hano’s father, multiple miscarriages, and Jaqueline’s mother being diagnosed with a brain tumor. Still, they never stopped believing in a better tomorrow.
And finally, in 2024/2025, that tomorrow arrived.
They bought the riding stable they had always dreamed of.
They got married in June 2025.
And soon after, Jaqueline learned she was pregnant.
Life finally felt kind again. 🌈
Then came December 13.
That morning, Jaqueline collapsed and was rushed to the hospital in Trier. Doctors fought desperately to save her life. She lost too much blood — but through an emergency C-section, their baby girl was saved.
Jaqueline never woke up.
She had suffered a ruptured aortic aneurysm. After two days of fighting, doctors confirmed brain death. Life support was withdrawn. At just 36 years old, her life ended.
The cruel irony?
Jaqueline had once been a paramedic — someone who saved lives. She was warm, open-hearted, always there for others. And she was so excited to finally hold her little girl in her arms.
She never got that chance.
Now Hano stands alone, holding his newborn daughter — overwhelmed by love, shattered by grief. The woman he planned a future with is gone. His best friend. His anchor.
And their baby girl, Jody, will grow up never knowing her mother’s voice, her touch, her smile.
💔
Hano is trying to be strong. But grief doesn’t pause life.
The riding stable barely covers basic expenses. And now there are costs no one plans for:
– Funeral expenses
– Childcare support
– Help on the farm so Hano can survive this first unbearable phase
– Immediate living costs during this time of loss
He cannot do this alone.
That’s why friends have come together to ask for help — so Hano can grieve, bond with his daughter, and not collapse under the weight of everything at once.
Every donation helps.
Even the smallest amount lifts a piece of this burden.
The overwhelming love and support shown so far has been incredible. Because of this, the fundraiser will remain open. If funds remain after immediate needs are covered, they will be placed in a trust account for little Jody — to help secure her future, education, and life ahead.
✨ Transparency matters:
The donations are collected with Hano’s full knowledge and consent, managed separately, and used responsibly with legal and financial oversight. Every step is taken to honor trust and kindness.
