Two Blind Cows Met After Losing Everything and What Happened Next Shocked Everyone

Tricia is a blind cow who found a home at Farm Sanctuary, but after her longtime friend passed away she was left all alone. Around the same time, another cow named Sweety was rescued from a Canadian dairy farm - she was also blind, suffering from a hoof infection, and being considered for slaughter because she was no longer “profitable.”

Volunteers brought Sweety more than 350 miles to the sanctuary in New York.On her first night there, Sweety was scared by the unfamiliar surroundings, but Tricia greeted her softly with a gentle moo from a neighboring stall.

The next day they were introduced face-to-face. Sweety leaned in for a sniff, and Tricia nudged her back - soon they were nuzzling, eating hay together, and by evening they slept side by side.

Their bond grew quickly. Tricia became like a guide for Sweety: she helps her navigate, and together they walk, groom each other, and enjoy their time outdoors. For Sweety, this was a totally new kind of life instead of concrete barn floors, she experienced soft bedding, deep hay, and the freedom to step outside.

Their friendship shows how compassionate rescue can transform the lives of animals often forgotten by others two cows, both blind and once discarded, now thriving together.
