Bill Gates Hit by Flying Cream Pie in Belgium — 1998 Prank

In 1998, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates experienced a surprise attack in Brussels, Belgium but it wasn’t from a rival tech company. Instead, a flying cream pie struck him squarely in the face.

The culprit was Noël Godin, a notorious prankster known for “entarting” celebrities. As Gates arrived to meet officials, Godin launched the pie with perfect aim. Cameras captured the moment as Gates calmly wiped cream from his glasses, showing remarkable composure despite the unexpected encounter.

Contrary to rumors, Gates did not fire his security team or make any joke about the pie’s flavor. He simply continued with his schedule, proving that even the world’s richest men can be caught off guard  and handle it with grace.
